three months old

Whitney turned three months old on August 29th. She is becoming busier and busier each day!

• Full of smiles and sounds - her favorite is "goo"
• She is entertained by her hands - either in her mouth or rubbing them together. Drools a lot and is still deciding which finger or combination of fingers she likes the best. Grabs her clothes and brings them up to her mouth or just holds on tight!
• Loves her activity gym and batting at the hanging rattles and rings - and often keeps a tight grip when she realizes she has grasped something.
• Great sleeper - often going to bed around 9:30pm and wakes up around 6am!
• Her favorite book is 'Counting Kisses' - we think she likes looking at all the faces.
• She is close to rolling over and we think she may go from her back to her tummy first as she likes rolls to her side.
• Likes to be held outward to see what is going on and practice standing.
• Enjoys the alphabet song with mom.
• Is on a pretty regular schedule of eating, playing and then sleeping.
• Recently discovered the joy of playing "peek-a-boo"
• Best of all...she giggled for the first time last night while we were eating dinner and she was standing on mom's lap, listening to dad talk.
