It is hard to believe Whitney turns eleven months old today!
The picture above is by far our favorite expression on Whitney's face lately...showing all of her new top teeth and smiling away!
The dress she is wearing is the same as she wore for Easter, but didn't get any pictures so I thought I would put it on this morning - her Great Aunt Kate gave it to her when she was born.
- Definitely has mastered crawling – it is so much fun to watch her get to where she wants to go. Is pulling herself up. Likes to sit on her knees to play. We normally find her sitting up in her crib in the morning and after naps.
- Loves her activity table – especially turning the one page book in the middle; back and forth; back and forth.
- As most kids do – she loves cell phones, remotes, necklaces, measuring cups (basically anything that isn’t a toy). She loves to open the cupboards in the kitchen – she found a water bottle the other day and you would think she discovered gold!
- Has a hard time staying still on her changing table – flipping over, sitting up…
- Gives us hugs when we are sitting on the floor - resting her head on our lap
- Loves cheese, waffles, Cheerios, Kix, Chex, turkey, yogurt, fruit. Working on feeding her the same things we eat.
- Has 6 teeth – 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. Her recent smile that shows her top teeth is the best!
- Continues to have some separation anxiety when we are not in sight.
- Mary (a teacher in her daycare room) mentioned to me yesterday that she is “developing quiet the personality!” Dad has been doing most of the drop offs lately and they are getting better each day.
- She is quickly learning the meaning of “no” – but laughs when we say it (uh oh) – we are working on that!
- Enjoyed painting at daycare – they gave her the brush, but she preferred to use her hands.

I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUN TO TAKE A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE:
