This week Whitney is working on clapping and tapping everything. She taps our shoulder when we are holding her, taps on books and toys and is practicing clapping. She hasn't figured out how to clap the palms of her hands together but rather claps her belly; claps the palm of her hand on the back of her hand; or claps toys together. A look of pride crosses her face each time she realizes she is "clap clap clapping".
She is also practicing solid foods and picking them up to eat them. It is rare if the puffs make it to her mouth but she sure is trying!
We introduced the sippy cup, but it seems she enjoys chewing on it more than sipping!
Whitney finished up her second week at her new daycare and we are all adjusting a little more each day. She is battling her first cold but is quite the trooper through it all.
Hubert has found his new favorite spot on the chair.
