graduation day

We spent the past 8 Thursdays at Twin Cities Obedience Training Club (TCOTC) with Hubert in level one obedience. Pete did the majority of the training and Hubert learned a lot (and it was good training for us, too). He has mastered sit, stay, down, come, touch with verbal and non-verbal cues - all techniques to train his mind and body to understand we are the "Pack Leaders". He can also do a figure eight through Pete's legs on a good day. Hubert was a great student, now we just need to be consistent at home so he stops chewing the couch, table and stairs and so he will be prepared for the arrival of Baby W.

All dogs received a nice large Milk Bone treat from TCOTC on graduation night. Below is a picture of his favorite normal treat next to the oversized Milk Bone. We are so proud of Hubie.
